Project Description

When the Richardson Bay Redwood Bridge opened in 1931, at the time, it was the largest structure ever constructed of redwood. Built from over 2.5 million board feet of redwood, the Richardson Bridge made the important transportation connection from San Rafael to Sausalito. The Lumber Baron is able to offer limited amounts of 3×5 t&g (tongue and groove) that served as the bridges decking. Free of knots, the old growth redwood material would make incredible gates or could double as an impressive exposed ceiling and floor.
